Polideportivo Los Caobos, Ponce
ViDAS will be hosting a six-day clinic in Ponce, Puerto Rico June 3-8. This will be our 34th clinic. This clinic will be the first in the great “Spay-A-Thon” collaborative effort organized by the Humane Society of the United States. We couldn’t be more excited for this new opportunity to help a community recently ravaged by a devastating hurricane, which left thousands of animal homeless. We will be traveling down to Puerto Rico with our team of veterinarians, , students and veterinary technicians to provide safe sterilization for dogs and cats. We will also provide rabies vaccinations for the pets that we sterilize. The presence of rabies on the island makes the issue of pet overpopulation a serious threat to human health. If you are interested in getting involved please visit our “Get Involved” page to get more information on ways you may be able to help!
The clinic will be a free clinic, it will be first come, first serve, all pets must be owned and accompanied by one owner, and no pets will be accepted if they are left alone in crates. All dogs must be leashed and all cats must come in a carrier. There will be a 2 pet per person per day limit, so please plan accordingly. We are very humbled and excited to be a part of this collaboration. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
