ViDAS - Puerto Rico
ViDAS will be hosting a six-day clinic in Ponce, Puerto Rico. This will be our 36th clinic. This clinic will be the third in the great “Spay-A-Thon” collaborative effort organized by the Humane Society of the United States. We couldn’t be more excited for this new opportunity to help a community recently ravaged by a devastating hurricane, which left thousands of animal homeless. We will be traveling down to Puerto Rico with our team of veterinarians, , students and veterinary technicians to provide safe sterilization for dogs and cats. We will also provide rabies vaccinations for the pets that we sterilize. The presence of rabies on the island makes the issue of pet overpopulation a serious threat to human health.
